DISTRIBUTION AIR SYSTEM FOR THE CONTROL OF THE SAFETY VALVES OF A STEAM GENERATOR IN A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT WITH THE WWER-440 TYPE OF REACTOR

The system finds application in controlling emergencysituations in nuclear power stations having WWER-440 type ofreactors. It ensures time for starting active actions by theservice staff for the safe control of the emergency situation,also reducing the danger of radioactive environmental pollution incase of steam generation emergency. The system includes a sourceof air under pressure to which a compressed air holder (15) isconnected after which are connected. Control devices (5,5 & 19)inthe system. Closing valves (17, 26, 28 & 30) are mounted to thesupply airducts of the control devices (5, 6 & 19) to the safetyvalves and electrically driven valves (16, 25, 27 & 29) fittedafter them.2 claims, 2 figures
