PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove particulate materials, to restrain the propagation of caught bacteria and mold, and also to prevent them from being diffused by constituting a filter medium so as to form at least one layer of electret nonwoven fabric and at least one layer of antibacterial nonwoven fabric and bond the layers together by an antibacterial adhesive. SOLUTION: In this filter medium, on the upper surface of a layer consisting of electret nonwoven fabric, at least one layer consisting of antibacterial nonwoven fabric is arranged, and on the uppermost surface, at least one layer consisting of the antibacterial nonwoven fabric is arranged. When the electret nonwoven fabric is present on the upper side from the antibacterial nonwoven fabric, there is possibility of hardly obtaining sufficient antibacterial effect. In this filter medium, the layers need to be bonded together by an antibacterial adhesive. Even if bacteria and mold caught by the antibacterial nonwoven fabric are scattered, since the nonwoven fabrics of the layers are bonded together by the antibacterial adhesive, they are re-caught on the boundary surface between the nonwoven fabrics to prevent them from being activated and propagated again. |
