PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which suppresses concentration decrease with time, further, suppresses density decreases at both ends part on an image, and obtains a high quality image. SOLUTION: By setting the lower end of a partition window 25 and the rotation center 22C of a stirring device 22 to the range of 0 deg.-+25 deg. to the rotation center 18C of a developer carrier 18, developer T is restricted at the lower end of the partition window 25 and, at the same time, the developer T can be carried from a stirring chamber 20 to the developer carrier 18 satisfactorily in balance. Thus, a concentration decrease with time can be suppressed, and a concentration decrease after it is left in a high temperature and humidity environment can be prevented. Also, by setting 1.5×B>=A>B, wherein A is the width of each of the axial end parts of a resin film 36 and B is the width of the axial middle part, an amount in the carrying of the developer T is made larger at both the axial end parts than the axial middle part, and an insufficiency of the developer T near both the axial ends of the developer carrier 18 is prevented, therefore the density decreases at both the ends of the image can be prevented. |
