摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve an engaging shock at range switching time by fully closing throttle opening, and setting clutch oil pressure to a prescribed value larger than zero when engine speed is not less than a prescribed value at switching time to a travel range from a nontravel range of a shift range. SOLUTION: When a range detecting means 5 detects that a range is switched to a D range (a travel range) from an N range (a nontravel range), first of all, a control means 7 judges whether or not a clutch of a departure time engaging gear is engaged. When an engine speed NE detected by an engine speed detecting means 6 is not less than a prescribed value, that is, when the engine speed is abnormally high like an accelerator is stepped in the N range, engine speed down control is started after a timer is set. That is, throttle opening is fully closed '0' regardless of accelerator opening. At the same time, clutch oil pressure of a departure time engaging gear is made to stand by at a prescribed value in which this clutch does not have transmission capacity.
