PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge exhaust containing ultra fine dust and particles which are discharged from a vacuum cleaner main body to the outside of a room or a house by providing a ventilation pipe for guiding the exhaust of the vacuum cleaner main body from the discharge port of it to the outside of the room or the house. SOLUTION: A connecting member 15 is fitted to the discharge port 2 which is formed in the vacuum cleaner main body 1 and a connecting port 4 arranged in one end of the ventilation pipe 3 is attached to the connecting member 15 so as to be freely attachable/detachable. The exhaust port part 5 of the ventilation pipe 3 in its tip is protruded outward from a part between doors 7 and 7 being a partition for partitioning a chamber. Cleaning is executed through the use of the vacuum cleaner in this state. In this case, ultra fine dust or particles or the like being equal to below 0.2μ, for example, which is not caught by the built-in filter of the main body 1, is discharged to the outside of the room through the ventilation pipe 3. Thus, health and a hygienic problems owing to the diffusion of the ultra fine dust and the particles or the like inside the room when the exhaust of the cleaner is discharged to the outside of the room are eliminated.
