PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutchless compressor to suppress the generation of vibration and noise by a method wherein a power transmission route running from a pulley to a rotary shaft is rapidly cut off when load torque on the compressor side is increased to an excessive value due to abnormality of the internal part of a compressor. SOLUTION: A clutchless compressor transmits the drive force of an external drive source through a pulley 10 rotatably mounted on a housing 1 to a rotary shaft 2 contained in a housing 1. A hub 20 is arranged at the end part of the rotary haft 2 protruding from the housing 1 to an external part. A holding part 23 made of plastic breakable when load torque exceeding a specified value is exerted is located between the pulley 10 and the hub 20. |
