PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce local load irregularity caused among a cleaning blade, a photoreceptor drum and toner left after transfer so as to improve reliability by using a material having specified impact resilient modulus and the temperature dependency of the impact resilient modulus within a specified range and a material having low impact resilient modulus as the material of a cleaning blade. SOLUTION: An image crier 1 is an amorphous silicon photoreceptor and a cleaning means is an elastic blade 9a. The impact resilient modules of the elastic material of the blade 9a is <=45% at 45 deg.C in an area where the material of the blade 9a shows a rubber state within the temperature of 5 deg.C to 60 deg.C, and the temperature dependency of the impact resilient modulus is -1%/deg to +1%/deg. Namely, by making the temperature dependency of the impact resilient modulus small, toner fusion is not caused by the deflection of atmospheric temperature and temperature rise due to continuous paper passing. Furthermore, if nip width is 10μm to 60μm, filming film to cause image defect is prevented.
