摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligner for reducing the deviation of respective beams from each other, accurately superposing one on another images and preventing the occurrence of color slippage or blurring and blotting of lines by keeping in a prescribed range the deviation of fluctuations in the light intensity on the image surfaces irradiated with respective plural light sources. SOLUTION: The deviation of fluctuations in the light intensity on the image surfaces irradiated with respective plural light sources is kept in a prescribed range. This exposure device 1 is provided with only one deflection device 5 as a means for deflecting at a prescribed linear velocity the laser beams emitted from 2×4=8 of the laser elements as light sources on the image surfaces arranged at prescribed positions of respective photosensitive body drums 58Y, 58M, 58C and 58B of first-forth image formation parts 50Y, 50M, 50C and 50B. Then, in the device, fluctuations in the light intensity on the image surfaces of the respective beams are within 2%--2% against a design value. Also, fluctuations of the beam diameters of the respective beams on the image surfaces are within 10%--10% against a design value.
