PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an outdoor unit which enables simple mounting of a structure to change discharged air upward so that noises of the air discharged forward from the outdoor unit is lowered while discomfort is eliminated as felt when the air hits a human body. SOLUTION: An air direction changer 22 is arranged on the side of a plane where air is discharged from an outdoor unit 1 surrounding an air direction chamber 21 to turn the air upward from forward, and is mounted to combine mounting screws 13 and 13 of the outdoor unit 1. The air direction changer is mounted being separated to the same extent as the depth L of the outdoor unit to secure a space area enough to sufficiently accumulate the discharged air. With limited pressure loss, air is smoothly discharged from a rectangular release port 23 thereabove. This can avoid a drop in noise and uncomfortable contact of the air with a human body during blowing. |
