PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the fitting positional accuracy of respective members and to eliminate the detecting error of a developer pattern detection means by disposing an image carrier or an intermediate transfer body and the developer pattern detection means and the reference pattern member at the identical member. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of the pattern detection sensor 231 disposed beside a transfer carrying belt 216 laid between a driving roller 214 and a driven roller, the calibration plate 232 being the reference pattern member on which a reference pattern is formed and a supporting frame 233 to which the respective parts are fitted. The frame 233 is fixed to the bearing 234 of the roller 214. Besides, the belt 216, the sensor 231 and the plate 232 are respectively fitted with precise positional relation (respective gaps). |
