Steel door case corner connection - using hooked element on one bar and locking projection on another

The purpose is to simplify the process of joining together the components of a steel, or other metal, door case which is assembled on site, ensuring a perfect fitting and not leaving a case which may loosen when the door is slammed. The holder components mounted on the head bar, or cross bar at the bottom and on the side bars, comprise hooked elements on the one hand, and projections serving as locking elements on the other. The hooked component may be panel-shaped. It may be all in one piece, likewise the other element with the projection. Holder components on the head bar and side bars may be serrated together in the bevelled area, or may have overlapping teeth. The hooked element may be seated on a pivot, with a lever arm engaged by a setscrew.
