PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption in a standby mode and in an out-of- communication area by intermittently performing ON/OFF control over the power source of a waveform equalizer in specific cycles for a certain time only when a carrier is detected, and switching a reception channel when a unique word is not detected during the ON/OFF control. SOLUTION: A UW(unique word) detection part 6 detects whether or not there is a UW from a received signal series outputted from an RF reception part 1. When no UW is detected, a sliding control part 4 turns off the power source of the waveform equalizer 5 and outputs a channel switching request signal to a channel switching control part 2. The control part 2 switches the reception channel of the RF reception part 1 to another reception channel. When a UW is detected, the sliding control part 4 is triggered in a UW detection timing of the UW detection part 6 to acquire the synchronism of a receive frame according to a frame reference timing. Then the power source of the waveform equalizer 5 is brought under the ON/OFF control in synchronism with a received frame cycle.
