PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically feed a frozen cake base having a prescribed concentration to a frozen cake-producing apparatus. SOLUTION: This frozen cake-producing apparatus is constituted so as to store diluted and controlled frozen cake base in a tank, agitate the frozen cake base with agitating wings while freezing the frozen cake base in a freezing region and feed frozen cake in solid-solution state. A mechanism for automatically feeding the frozen cake base to the tank based on detection signal of a liquid level-detecting sensor comprises a frozen cake base feed control valve operated by detection signal of the liquid level-detecting sensor, a feeding mechanism of syrup operated, synchronously with the control valve, a water-feeding mechanism operated corresponding to change of pressure of feed piping system of water and a mixer 20 for diluting and controlling the fed syrup by water and the mixer 20 extracts the syrup by pressure-reducing phenomenon produced while water passes from a communicating type small pathway Q through a large passage (q) and dilutes the syrup with water. The syrup is diluted to a definite concentration by the mixer 20 and automatically fed as a frozen cake base to the tank to retain the liquid level of the froze cake base in the tank. |
