A feeding mechanism for devices transporting stacked rectangular cardboards or boards of similar material to a device for processing boards intended particularly for folding boxes, where a transporting device is composed of the feeding mechanism equipped with dogs located on a flexible connector placed on drive wheels, characterised by that each dog (7) is fixed to a body (8) which is rotary mounted at its front on the flexible connector (6) and equipped at its rear with a support element (15) for periodic propping against the device support (16) mounted on the device's stationary part (1) in the feeding area, with the dog (7) composed of a transporting element (17) and an oblique element (18) supporting the boards (2).
