PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate the three-dimensional shape of a model approximating an existing tree shape. SOLUTION: An object tree 1 is photographed from the periphery by plural cameras 2, background images are eliminated from obtained images, color conversion is performed and input to a computer 3 for image generation. Volume data are prepared, also branch segments are prepared and a tree model is prepared. Leaves are rendered to the respective branch segments and the tree model is displayed on a display 4.
