<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coil heating apparatus which can efficiently and uniformly heat the coiled metallic strip in a short time. SOLUTION: An iron core 2 is penetrated in the inner surface of the coil 1 wound so as to be insulated on the surface of the metallic strip and also, an iron core 3 is arranged at the outer part of the coil 1 so as to form a magnetic circuit with the iron core 2 as annular state, and a primary coil 4 is wound on this iron core 3 and connected with a primary electric source 8. A secondary circuit is formed by short-circuiting the outside and the inside of the coil l with electrodes 6, 7 connected with a conductive member 5. In such a way, a transformer is formed and the current is conducted to the coil 1 of metallic strip by applying the voltage in the primary coil 4, and the metallic strip is heated.</p> |
