<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-screen liquid crystal display without deteriorating its quality and reliability. SOLUTION: Scanning lines 111 are formed by two parts, i.e., a 1st wire group 111-1 formed from a 1st peripheral area 104Y-1 into a display area 102 and a 2nd wire group 111-2 formed from a 2nd peripheral area 104Y-2 into the display are 102. Consequently, the scanning lines 111 divided into two in the display area 102 are shorter in a wiring length than when one scanning line is formed continuously from the 1st peripheral area 104Y-1 to the 2nd peripheral area 104Y-2 through the display area 102, so that the wiring resistance can be reduced.</p> |
