PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin a device itself and to secure the fee length of a so-called doctor system layer forming blade and to excellently keep the circulating property of developer. SOLUTION: This developing device is provided with a developing roll 4 disposed to face the aperture part of a developing housing 3 so as to carry and feed the non- magnetic one-component developer, a developer supply member 5 arranged in presscontact with the roll 4 so as to supply the developer and a layer forming member 6 whose end part fixed to the housing 3 is positioned on the downstream side of the roll 4 in the rotating direction and whose free end part is arranged in press-contact with the roll 4 so as to form the layer of the developer. Besides, the supply member 5 and the forming member 6 are arranged so as to press-contact with the lower circumferential surface of the roll 4 positioned more downward than a horizontal line (h) passing through the center axis of the roll 4. Specially, the supply member 5 is arranged so as to press-contact with the upstream side of the roll 4 in the rotating direction and so as to interpose a vertical line (v) passing through the lowest point and the center axis of the roll 4. Besides, the forming layer 6 is arranged so as to press-contact with the downstream side. Then, this developing device is incorporated in an image forming device. |
