PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan controller which is able to increase velocities of individual fans to have intended numbers of rotations, respectively, without generating a rustling noise. SOLUTION: An indoor unit of a floor-type air conditioner comprises two indoor fans, an upper fan and a lower fan, which can raise numbers of rotations thereof, when driven, to intended values of Rt U.Rt L, respectively, after lapse of a capacity control period wherein the numbers of rotations are maintained as low values of capacity control number of rotations RCU, RCL, respectively. Start of increasing velocity of the upper fan which has firstly been released from the capacity control is delayed until after the time when the upper fan was released from the capacity control in order to start increase of velocity simultaneously with the lower fan which is released from the capacity control afterward. Thus, the capacity ratio between the individual fans does not change drastically. As a result, the numbers of rotations RCU.RCL under the capacity control of the individual fans can be raised to the intended numbers of rotations Rt U.Rt L, respectively, without generating a rustling noise. |
