PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically correct the grinding surface of a level block and correct the level block with high efficiency and with high accuracy by providing a control part for controlling an immobile support means for floating a swivel body from a non-pivotal body and supporting the same, a pivoting means for pivoting the pivotal body and the operation of the means to automatically correct the level block. SOLUTION: A control device operates a floating cylinder 90, thereby raising a column head 87 to be floated from a base 89. Secondly, a pressurization cylinder 77 is operated to lower a pressurizing shaft 76. The lowering distance is the position where the pressurization becomes the minimum value. Subsequently, an electric current is applied to a servo motor 86 to lower an upper spindle housing 79 so that an upper level block 11 is lowered to a place where to come into contact with a level block 6 at the minimum pressurizing force. Next, the lower level block 6 and the upper level block 11 are rotated to perform following sliding. Simultaneously, a coolant is released, and the pressurizing force is gradually pressurized to a preset pressure, and the following sliding time is measured to execute for designated time. Subsequently, the rotation of the upper level block 11 and the lower level block 6 is slowly stopped, and then the processing is conducted to return all of them to the initial position. |
