PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work environment and work efficiency by providing a pellet which is a resin pellet formed by solidifying many abrasive grains with resin, and to reduce the polishing work time of the next process by half. SOLUTION: A level block 1 is applied to a grinding device for grinding a glass disc, and includes a level block main body 2 and plural resin pellets 3. The level block main body 2 is a doughnut-like metallic disc body, and the plural resin pellets 3 are arranged at designated spaces on the surface of the level block main body 2. The resin pellet 3 is formed by many diamond grains and resin formed of polyimide resin, and formed like a disc as a whole. In the case of polishing the glass disc with the thus formed both-sided grinding device, a glass disc is stored in a disc storing hole of a carrier on a lower level block, and then an upper level block is lowered to rotate both level blocks in the opposite directions. Whereupon, both surfaces of the glass disc are ground by the resin pellets 3 to eliminate the need for slurry. |
