OPTICAL SWITCH CONNECTION PART AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch connection part elminating the necessity of a refractive index matching agent filled in the whole optical fiber connection part of an optical switch. SOLUTION: In the optical switch connection part provided with an array part arranging and fixing plural fixed side optical fibers 1 in parallel by aligning their end faces, optical fiber leading grooves 3a arranged in respective positions on the extension lines of the fixed side optical fibers by aligning their axes and one or plural movable side optical fibers 2 to be inserted/detached into/from the grooves 3a, an optical array member 10 having plural linear light guide parts arrayed in the same array pitch as that of the fixed side optical fibers 1 and forming a reflection preventing film 9 on one end face of the light guide parts fixes the other end face having no reflection preventing film to the fixed side optical fibers 1 and a reflection preventing film 2a is formed also on the end face of the movable side optical fibers 2.
