PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control a working fluid pressure for determining a fuel injection amount by a method wherein a gain in PID control of a deviation between a pressure of working fluid and a pressure of a target working fluid pressure is varied according to the operation state of a feel injection amount. SOLUTION: The control gain of a PID control element 35 to perform PID operation of a pressure deviationΔPr is varied according to the operation state of an engine of some an idle or a non idle operation state, a pressure deviation between the pressure of working fluid and a target working fluid pressure, or the pressure change of working fluid. When a pressure control valve 64 is controlled based on PID operation such that the pressure Pr of working fluid coincides with a target working fluid pressure Prt, the working fluid pressure is further and properly controlled according to an operation state, an amount of fuel injected from an injector to a combustion chamber is further properly controlled.
