The invention relates to a simple, stable ophthalmological examination unit (10) which is easy to transport and requires little space, comprising an upper slide (22) which is telescopically mounted on a lower slide (21). The lower slide is fitted with a head rest (23) and can be displaced parallel to a guide element (18), and the upper slide (22) carries examination instruments and can be moved on the lower slide (21) into a number of working positions corresponding to the number of examination instruments (26, 27, 28) it carries. The examination unit (10) is configured as a table-top device and can be fixedly joined to a table (11) via the guide element. |
