External antiinflammatory preparation contg. nimesulide is claimed. Also claimed is a method for preparing it. Pref. the preparation contains 0.1-5 wt.% nimesulide and has pH 4-8. The base contains hydrophilic polymer, vaseline, an oily substance, non-ionic surfactant, water, a basic substance and/or an absorption accelerator (pref. diisopropanolamine, triethanolamine and/or 1-(2-hydroxyethyl)pyrrolidone, crotamiton, medium chain length aliphatic acid esters, 1-menthol and/or benzylalcohol). |
