A cartridge to a portable musical system, comprising ROM for storing musical compositions and an interface for connection to the musical system, characterized in that said cartridge is provided with a key coding unit, associated with ROM and enabling to interact with an additional decoder of the portable musical system via an interface. 3. A cartridge of Claim 2, characterized in that comprises a printed circuit board, said board is provided with a memory unit, an interface and a key coding unit. 4. A cartridge of Claim 2, characterized in that it is arranged in a housing in which printed circuit board is mounted. 5.
