摘要 The invention refers to a displacement method and transducer which solves the problem of monitoring the displacement of average and high voltage switches in ON-LINE or OFF-LINE mode, which are used in the energy industry or in testing such switches in high power or high voltage laboratories. According to the invention, the switch displacement monitoring method consists of the fact that the change of position is determined by measuring the light-intensity variation received by a fibre optic that is fixed tightly to the mobile equipment of the switch, depending on the distance of one end of the fibre optic from a source of light fixed to the fixed part of the switch. The light intensity is converted into voltage by means of a phototransistor located at the other end of the fibre optic. In order to apply the method, the linear displacement transducer is made up of a piston (1), connected to the mobile equipment of a switch (5) by means of some retaining nuts (6), which moves with it the end of a fibre optic (2) inside the body (4) of the transducer that is fixed tightly, with a retaining clamp (7), to the fixed part of the switch. At one end of the body (4), there is a light source (8) whose intensity is received, at the other end of the fibre optic, by a phototransistor (10) and is converted into voltage whose value depends on the distance between the piston and the light source, that is the source of the mobile equipment of the switch. From the determination of the switch displacement we can obtain the speed and acceleration of the mobile equipment of the switch.
