PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a purging time, to reduce the loss of products, to improve heat stability, to prevent the generation of odors, and to improve the efficiency of purging by mixing a hydrophobic thermoplastic resin, a hydrophilic thermoplastic resin, and a plasticizer in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: A purging agent consisting of a hydrophobic thermoplastic resin A and a hydrophilic thermoplastic resin B in which the mixing ratio of the resins A/B is 100/0-30/70, and 0.01-40 pts.wt. of a plasticizer C is incorporated into 100 pts.wt. of the resins (A+B). As the hydrophobic resin A, a polyolefin, polystyrene, etc., are named; the polyolefin is used preferably. EVOH, PVA, PA, etc., are used as the hydrophilic resin B. Besides, alcohols as the plasticizer C are effective, for example, for EVOH and PVA. |
