<p>A casket (10) includes a cardboard inner box (12) having a bottom, two opposed sides and two opposed ends and a cardboard outer wrap (14) having an outer directed side (23, 25) with a finish different from a finish of the cardboard material inner box. The outer wrap has a bottom (82) located below the bottom of the inner box. Side and end walls (88, 90, 92, 95) of the outer wrap extend from the bottom of the outer wrap, up and over outer surfaces of the side and end walls of the inner box and then down and over inner surfaces of the side and end walls of the inner box. An inner tray (16) and a lid (18,19) for covering all or part of the casket (10) are also provided. The inner box (12) and the outer wrap (14) are formed from respective folded blanks having panels to define a base, outer side and end panels, and inner side and end panels folded inwardly from the outer panels, the blanks being held erect by tabs cooperating with slots.</p> |
