The present invention relates to a novel adhesive composition for surgical use application comprising an alpha -cyanoacrylate and a polymer being biodegradable and bioabsorbable into the living body organism. It is preferred that the polymer is a co-polymer of DL-lactic acid and epsilon -caprolactone, or co-polymer of DL-lactic acid, ethylene glycol and epsilon -caprolactone, or a co-polymer of ethylene glycol and epsilon -caprolactone.
