摘要 This invention relates to measurement engineering and may be used for measuring complicated form element surface measurements by coordinate measuring machines. The aim of the invention is to measure elements of different complicated geometric shapes, without a clearly expressed basic surface, without using complicated mathematical identification devices and other additional tools, reduce measurement times, increase measurement accuracy, tracing measurement to a system of coordinates of controlled surface. Determining the alignment of the complicated form element, system of measurement coordinates due to the alignment of mathematical machine system of coordinates (MSA) and its identification with an element system of coordinates (ESA), is carried out automatically, using control program cycles, in which takes place a step by step approach of the centre of the coordinates measuring machine system and consecutive turning of axles in each system of coordinates until the identification accuracy is achieved as required in the technical documentation.
