<p>A discharge tube (10) which can continually discharge at intervals of 2.5 ms in stable fashion in a high-temperature environment at 150 DEG C comprises a pair of electrodes (14a,14b) with the discharge surfaces (16,16) thereof disposed opposite to each other in a space portion (22) filled with a sealing gas.
