306,754. Nielsen. H. L. Raaschou-. April 16, 1928. Cooling fish.-Fish &c. prior to freezing proper is coated with a protective film of ice. The fish, preferably after covering to about 0‹ C., is dropped into water or sprayed &c. and cooled in a glacing chamber. Two or more superposed ice films may be formed on the fish. When the freezing proper is effected by contact with a liquid, the temperature of the ice film is previously brought close to that of the liquid. |
