PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink for ink jet recording, capable of decreasing the plugging of a nozzle orifice of an ink jet printer, excellent in jetting stability and capable of realizing a solid print. SOLUTION: This ink for ink jet recording is an aqueous organic pigment- dispersed body comprising (A) 0.5-15 wt.% organic pigment, (B) 0.1-10 wt.% cyclopentanohydrophenanthrene-ring derivative, (C) 0.1-10 wt.% polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphate ester having 4-11 HLB, or a styrene-maleic acid copolymer having a molar ratio of styrene to maleic acid regulated so as to be 1:1 and 15,000-25,000 molecular weight, containing 15-25% partial ester and having free carboxylic acid neutralized with ammonia, (D) 0.01-2 wt.% ethylene oxide adduct to acetylene glycol containing 2-12 mol added ethylene oxide, and having a pH regulated so as to be 7.5-10.0. |
