PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier using a polymer separation membrane to obtain highly dreed gas. SOLUTION: A gas introducing room 5 for a humid gas 11 and a gas exhausting room 6 for a dry gas 12 are respectively provided on the primary side and the secondary side of a polymer separation membrane 7 which is hydrophilic and through which gas hardly permeates but water easily permeates and a purge room 15 is provided on the outside of the polymer separation membrane 7 and a part of the dry gas 12 is introduced into the purge room 15 as a purge gas 13 and a vacuum means 19 for making the inner pressure of the purge room 15 vacuum is provided.
