PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system selecting a tool from a simple and reliable storage part. SOLUTION: A machine has, between a tool storage part 26a and a spindle 16 of a machining head 13a carried by a carriage 14a moved along an X-axis, a device 24a replacing a tool 17, the storage part 26a has a place of the many tools 17 arranged in a matrix, a work bench 6 can be moved along a Y-axis, the tool replacing device 24a and the storage part 26a can be relatively moved, the necessary tool 17 is selected. An operable means 51 is provided, the carriage 14a is made to command a relative motion of the device 24a and the storage part 26a. A carrier 42 can be moved in parallel to the X-axis, to be engages with an element 48 carried by the carriage 14a, the carrier can be moved in a fixed direction opposed to action of a return spring 44, the carrier 42 is returned to a stationary position. |
