PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of keeping a good form of grain stems conveyed from a grain stem-raising device to a thresher without deforming the grain stems, conveying smoothly the grain stems and reducing a head loss of the grain stems to the minimum degree. SOLUTION: This combine harvester comprises: the lower transfer mechanism 4 and upper transfer mechanism 5 designed to transfer grain stems received from a grain stem-raising device having a raising case 11 internally equipped with a raising time 12 and driving unit therefore to a thresher section side; and a plant head conveying mechanism 6 having a plant head conveying case 61 internally equipped with a plant head tine 62 and driving mechanism therefore, wherein the plant head conveying case 61 is positioned in the rear of and nearly within a projected area of the raising case 11, wherein a circumferential speed of the tip end of the plant head tine 62 is set slower than that of the raising tine 12, and whereby a raised grain is added with a sufficient conveying force by the plant head tine 62. |
