PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food vessels and sanitary appliances, capable of being sanitarily used even in the case of use in an environment relating to foods, etc., by using a stainless steel having an antibacterial effect as a stock. SOLUTION: These food vessels and sanitary appliances are constituted of an antibacterial stainless steel which is an austenitic stainless steel containing 1-5% Cu, a ferritic stainless steel containing 0.4-3% Cu, and a martensitic stainless steel containing 0.4-5% Cu and where a secondary phase composed essentially of Cu exists in an amount of >=0.2 vol.% in respective base phases. |
