PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and accurately manufacture a formed body, which is soft to environment and has excellent buffering properties. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method, the small hole impassable fine component of the slurry in a slurry is heaped up by removing the medium of a slurry through the small holes 11 of a forming mold 10 having a large number of the small holes 11 in the forming mold 10 so as to produce a formed matter 18 in order to manufacture a formed body by in-mold or out-of-mold drying. As a slurry composition, a mixture of kraft pulp and coarse wood flour, to which water is added for concentration adjustment so as to obtain the canadian standard freeness(CSF) of 550 ml or more, is employed so as to produce a formed matter under the state that an unnecessary portion is piled up in the open portion of the forming mold 10 in order to finally cut off the unnecessary portion of the formed matter under dry or wet state. |
