PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer image receiving sheet for improving a chelation rate of a heat diffusion dye stuff by reducing a coating cost and improving an operating environment. SOLUTION: The heat transfer image receiving sheet comprises at least two image receiving layers formed by water coating on a support in such a manner that a lower layer of the receiving layers contains a metallic ion containing compound for forming a chelate in reaction with a heat diffusion dye. In preferred embodiments, the metallic ion-containing compound is a water soluble compound, contains a release agent in addition to the ion-containing compound. And, the two or more layers of the receiving layers are formed by simultaneous water double coating. |
