PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately implement regenerative operation for discharging the sulfur component from NOx catalyst even when the stored information had been canceled due to removal of the battery. SOLUTION: When it is detected by battery detection means 42 that a battery 41 has been disconnected and then connected afterward, regenerative means is activated by control means 40 after lapse of a predetermined time in order to discharge the sulfur component in the NOx catalyst. Even in the case where the stored information had been canceled due to removal of the battery 41 connection, regenerative means is activated after lapse of a predetermined time at which the control state of the engine stabilizes, and an unstable running is eliminated. Further, even when the battery 41 is disconnected frequently, regenerative means is not activated each time, which prevents the fuel consumption from being deteriorated. Accordingly, it is possible to appropriately implement the regenerative operation for discharging the sulfur component from the NOx catalyst even when the stored information is canceled due to disconnection of power supply. |
