PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an assembling property to a plug hole as well as a vibration isolating performance in a plug hole. SOLUTION: An ignition coil 14 comprises a center core 17 provided in a case 16, a side core 18, a secondary coil 19, a primary coil 20, an igniter 21, a terminal 22 or the like. A plug cap 15 is mounted on the lower part of the ignition coil 14 and formed substantially in a cylindrical shape with silicone rubber. A protrusion 36 protrudes on the inner peripheral surface of the plug cap 15. Then, when the plug cap 15 is fitted to an ignition plug 13, a swelling part 37 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the plug cap 15 and interferes with the inner peripheral wall of a plug hole 12.
