PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white film for metal plate lamination which shows superb moldability and high strength and almost no possibilities of marring a jig in manufacturing metal containers and further, a low rate of change in the thickness of the film laminated on a metal by heat with less whiteness mottles. SOLUTION: This film comprises a composition obtained by blending polyester consisting of 95-75 mol.% of ethylene terephthalate unit and 5-25 mol.% of ethyleneisophthalate unit with 20-50 wt.% of titanium oxide. In this case, the film is formed of an intermediate layer containing 20-60 wt.% of titanium oxide and both outer layers containing 20 wt.% or less of titanium oxide. In addition, the film is thermally laminated on a metal plate so that the adhesive power is 300 gf/25 mm or more, and the rate of change in the thickness of the film after heat lamination to before heat lamination is to be 5% or less. |
