PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supplying device having a simple structure by omitting a motor and an electric controller for the motor in place of the ink supplying device for a conventional printer requiring a complicated controller. SOLUTION: This printer comprises an image base 2 which is vertically standing, an ink jet head 10 which is opposed to the image base and moves in horizontal and vertical directions, an ink tank 4 forming the ink jet head 10 and an ink supplying means provided at an arbitrary end section of the image base 2. The ink supplying means is constituted of a lever, a recess formed on the top of the lever, a fulcrum for rotating the lever, a cover and an ink supplying guide so that solid ink is supplied to the ink tank 4 by moving the ink jet head 10 back and forth with respect to the surface of the image base. |
