PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink container capable of eliminating deformation or leakage, being manufactured in low cost and being replaceable. SOLUTION: There is disclosed an ink container 12 for supplying ink to an ink jet printing system. The ink container 12 comprises a chassis 58, a foldable ink tank 60 and a pressure vessel 62. The chassis 58 includes an outlet 36 for a fluid and an inlet 26 for a gas and has fluidic and air connections with a printing system. The pressure vessel 62 has an inner gauge pressure maintained in an operation range and supplies the pressurized ink to the printing system. The ink container 12 is equipped with an air ventilating device that couples the inner wall 30 of the pressure vessel 62 with the open air and continuously ventilates the air. |
