摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect misfire of the combustion unit by detecting the revolution speed of the gas turbine upon misfiring. SOLUTION: After supplying fuel to the gas turbine at the time t1 , and then igniting at the time t2 the revolution speed 1 of the gas turbine under the normal condition is steadily increased until it reaches the rated speed at the time t5 . When misfire occurs in the combustion unit, the combustion gas is lost to cause the revolution speed to be reduced like the misfire revolution speed 4. The misfire detection revolution speed 2 is set within the control unit, which determines the misfire when the revolution speed is decreased from the revolution speed 1 byα. When misfire 3 occurs at t3 during trip detection period 5, the misfire revolution speed 4 sharply decreases. When it is decreased at t4 byαit is determined as misfire. The control unit generates the misfire detection signal to trip the gas turbine, thus detecting the misfire reliably.
