Plasma display unit consists of two substrates (30, 60) with a space between them, a first set of electrodes (31) as strips on one substrate, second and third sets of electrodes (61, 62) as strips on the other substrate, positioned orthogonally to the first set, and separating walls (40) as strips between the substrates forming discharge gaps and coated with red, green and blue luminophores (50). The electrodes also have a dielectric coating (63) and a protective coating (64) of magnesium oxide. |
