PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle combustible waste included in domestic waste as organic compost without using incineration treatment, by processing combustibles in the domestic waste to recycle them as the compost. SOLUTION: A compound sorter 22 is a device for processing noncombustibles in domestic waste, and a drier 2 is a device for processing combustibles including garbage to compost. A combustible processing system S1 and a noncombustible processing system S2 work as one system in a way that noncombustibles discharged from the drier 2 are carried into the compound sorter 22, and combustibles discharged from the compound sorter 22 are brought into the drier 2, separating the noncombustibles and processing the combustibles as a raw material of compost, which make recycling of the waste easy. As a result, the amount of waste to be burnt or landfilling can be greatly decreased.
