PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To esterblish a producing method of a multilayered image forming base body such as a photosensitive material such as a photographic film print paper, or a magnetic tape, thermosensitive paper or the like, to prevent cissing defects, to improve the production quality and production yield of a multilayered image forming base body, and to decrease the production cost. SOLUTION: In the producing method of a multilayered coating film on a travelling supporting body, a curtain-like film is formed and applied. In this method, the film thickness of the layer at the point where the liquid layer in contact with the die lip 20 separates from the die lip 20, and the max. particle diameter of the particles included in the coating liquid for this layer satisfy the relation of (the film thickness of the coating liquid for the lowermost layer at the point where the layer separates from the die lip)/α>= (the max. particle size of particles in the lowermost layer), whereinαis any positive number >=20.
