PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash window which has high heat insulation performance and high selection free degree of design, facilitates the replacement after the construction, suppresses the cost, and reduce the generation of dew condensation. SOLUTION: A sash window is constituted by assembling heat insulating window frames 1, 2 which are provided with a bottom frame 12 formed by connecting a non-ferrous metal outdoor member 12A to an indoor member 12B by a heat insulating member 12C, a heat insulating shoji (paper sliding door) 5 which is provided with respective rails formed by connecting the non-ferrous metal indoor member to the outdoor member by the heat insulating member, or a heat insulting shoji 6 which has respective rails constituted of the non-ferrous metal outdoor member and an indoor member of the insulating member. Face parts of the window frames 1, 2 exposed to the indoor side are covered with insulating covers 201-204, 221. The assembling of the window frames 1, 2 with the shojis 5, 6 improve the heat insulating performance and the free degree of the design and facilitates the replacement after the construction. The heat insulating covers can reduce the generation of dew condensation in the window frames 1, 2. |
